КОНВЕРГЕНЦІЯ ІНФОРМАЦІЙНИХ МЕРЕЖ ЯК СТРАТЕГІЧНА СОЦІОКУЛЬТУРНА ІННОВАЦІЯ

Анотація

The impact of convergent technologies on social processes within information societies is explored. It is argued that social modernization necessitates interpreting convergence as a strategic innovation. The absence of societal control over network convergence leads to reverse—divergent processes. It is demonstrated that the latter produce various forms of social alienation. The influence of contemporary information technologies on the formation of identity and social interactions is examined within the frameworks of dispositif and network convergence concepts. The authors analyze how the fast pace of life and the proliferation of digital networks contribute to the de-subjectification and alienation of social agents increasingly engaged in virtual forms of identity. The evolution of counterculture from the adoption of information technologies in the past to their critical evaluation today is explored. Special attention is given to the socio-cultural consequences of innovative processes that modify gender, legal, and political aspects of modern life under the influence of information networks. It is argued that network architecture changes social structures and individual modes of existence. This research contributes to understanding the relationship between technological achievements and the human factor in contemporary information society, emphasizing the necessity of preserving personal autonomy and the right to self-realization in the digital era.
