Privacy Statement

Information Collected

The journal's OJS platform may collect information provided during registration, submission, review, and editorial correspondence, including names, institutional affiliations, email addresses, ORCID iDs, usernames, and records of editorial activity.

How Information Is Used

Personal information is used only for the operation of the journal and the scholarly publishing process, including:

  • managing user accounts and access permissions;
  • processing submissions and coordinating peer review;
  • communicating with authors, reviewers, and editors;
  • producing and disseminating published articles and metadata;
  • maintaining the integrity and security of the scholarly record;
  • meeting legitimate legal, regulatory, indexing, preservation, and reporting requirements.

The journal does not sell personal information or use it for unrelated commercial marketing.

Public Information

The names, affiliations, ORCID iDs, and other scholarly identifiers of authors are published as part of the article metadata. An author's email address may appear in the published article when supplied for correspondence and authorised for publication.

The names and affiliations of editors and Editorial Board members are published because of their official journal roles. Reviewer identities are not disclosed under the journal's double-anonymous peer-review model unless disclosure is required by law or expressly agreed under a different approved process.

Disclosure and Security

Information may be processed by authorised journal staff, the publisher, and technical service providers only to the extent necessary to operate, secure, preserve, and index the journal. The journal takes reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or loss.
