Abstract

The work is devoted to theoretical and practical research into the effectiveness of large language models and their impact on transformation processes in linguistic and automated translation of international information security standards. The work offers an analysis of the classifications of translation transformations, a new definition of the concept of «translation transformation processes» and considers the features and specific examples of the application of micro-features of communicative equivalence and macro-features of the pragmatic orientation of the original text of the international standard and the text of its translation as a state standard of Ukraine. Using twelve specialized software applications based on the use of large language models, an experimental study was conducted and their rating was formed based on the impact on translation transformations in the automated translation of the text of the international standard on information security relative to the state standard of Ukraine. Conclusions were made and recommendations were provided regarding the existing potential and risks of their application.
