Abstract

The article examines the modern challenges of cybercrime in the conditions of digitalization and martial law in Ukraine. The main threats are identified, such as phishing, social engineering, attacks on critical infrastructure, and deepfake technologies. The role of the National Police of Ukraine in countering cyber threats is analyzed, including the work of cyber units, the use of OSINT technologies, digital platforms, and information campaigns. The main problems are defined: staff shortage, outdated technical equipment, and the lack of unified methods. Finally, ways to improve the cybersecurity system are proposed. Additional challenges faced by law enforcement officers are considered, as well as the modern methods used by cybercriminals.
